Finally, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife against dramatic crater walls.

Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi / Masai Mara

Arrive in Nairobi (or land at your designated entry airport), transfer to the Masai Mara. Late-afternoon game drive to begin wildlife viewing, elephants, lions, and plains game. Stay in a luxury lodge overlooking the Mara.

Day 2

Masai Mara

Full day in the Mara: early morning game drive, midday rest. Afternoon drive. Optional visit to a Maasai village or cultural interaction. Sunset sundowners in the bush.

Day 3

Masai Mara

Optional hot air balloon (if time & season) at dawn (on own cost/ optional). More game drives; focus on migration or river crossings (if timing is right). Night under stars in your luxury camp.

Day 4

Travel to the Serengeti

Cross the border into Tanzania. Drive (or fly, if preferred) into the Serengeti. Evening game drive in the southern/central region of the park. Dinner and lodge/rest.

Day 5

Serengeti

Full day in Serengeti: multiple game drives (morning & afternoon) in different zones. Possibility of river crossings, predator tracking, and birdlife. Evening relaxing at camp.

Day 6

Serengeti

Explore another area of the Serengeti, maybe the mid/ northern region, depending on migration location. Optional walking safari or photographic focus. Sunset over the plains.

Day 7

Serengeti → Ngorongoro

Morning game drive, then travel to the Ngorongoro region. Arrive at Crater Rim Lodge with expansive views. Evening cultural visit in Karatu / Maasai village.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

Early descent into the crater for a full-day crater game drive: expect rhino, lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos (seasonal). Picnic lunch in the crater. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 9

Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha (or your departure airport) with an optional stop at local markets/viewpoints. Depart for onward travel or home.
