10-Day Luxury Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda Safari

Tour Overview

This is East Africa at its most diverse and its most thrilling. Begin in Tanzania, where a scenic flight drops you into the heart of the Serengeti – a landscape so vast and alive it will redefine your understanding of wilderness. Track the Great Migration, watch big cats hunt at dawn, and sleep under canvas in a camp that rivals any luxury hotel.

Cross into Kenya and discover the Masai Mara’s private conservancies – where exclusive access means fewer vehicles, more space, and activities simply not permitted in the national reserve: night game drives, guided bush walks, and encounters with the legendary Maasai people on their own land.

Then fly to Uganda for the encounter of a lifetime. Deep in the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you will come face to face with a family of wild mountain gorillas – one of the world’s most endangered great apes, and one of the most profound wildlife experiences on earth.

Each destination is distinct in character, each lodge hand-selected for luxury and location. With Chui Safaris, every flight, permit, transfer, and detail is seamlessly arranged – so all you carry is the wonder.

Serengeti & Masai Mara – the Great Migration follows a circular annual route. River crossings at the Mara River, one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on earth, typically occur between July and October, making this the most sought-after travel window. Year-round, however, the big cat populations in both the Serengeti and Mara are exceptional.

Uganda gorilla trekking is possible year-round, but the two dry seasons – June to September and December to February – offer the most comfortable trekking conditions with firmer forest trails and clearer skies.

The July–September window is the sweet spot for this itinerary, combining peak Great Migration crossings in Tanzania and Kenya with Uganda’s best trekking season. For those who prefer fewer crowds and lower rates, November and the shoulder months of June and October offer excellent value without significantly compromising the experience.

  • Safari enthusiasts who want to experience the very best of East Africa in a single, seamless journey
  • Bucket-list travellers for whom gorilla trekking is a lifelong dream
  • Couples and honeymooners seeking a journey that is extraordinary rather than ordinary (the itinerary extends beautifully to Zanzibar or the Seychelles)
  • Seasoned Africa travellers returning to iconic destinations and ready to add Uganda’s rare primates
  • Wildlife photographers wanting maximum diversity – plains game, big cats, and mountain gorillas in one trip
  • Travellers with older children (minimum age 15 for gorilla trekking) seeking an immersive, multi-country adventure
